The Magnabait works very simply. Fish are mostly creatures of habit and instinct. Their patterns of travel and placement will normally repeat themselves in cycles. Experts catch fish because they are aware of the cycles. Fish scientists and experts also know that certain survival instincts are powerfully imprinted on a fish’s brain. These instincts interrupt its normal habit cycles and force it to prepare for special circumstances. They either indicate danger (usually from predators) or abnormally good feeding opportunities. If these signals keep repeating themselves, the only way the fish can finally ignore this brain interruption is to go see for itself what is happening. Fish are normally very curious.
