That would take the “sport” out of sport fishing. The Fish Magnet is a time machine. The major function of the Magnabait is to save you the time spent searching for fish by covering dozens of times more water than you normally could. In our view, this makes sense because today people have so little time. Fishing is usually the first and most frequent way that children and adults relate to nature and its animals. Time consuming, boring, and fruitless fishing trips are discouraging. Fishermen and their families stop fishing if it’s not fun and rewarding in the little time they can spend at the sport.

People will still find plenty of time to talk, joke, and relax. The boring and time consuming part of fishing is searching for fish. By reducing the search time, a person learns more about nature and fish in particular. Once the Magnabait attracts the fish, you still have to present the right bait or lure, fool the fish, hook the fish, fight, it, then land it. In addition, we hope you’ll release every fish you can’t eat promptly.

To most children and even adults, few things provide as much personal satisfaction and appreciation of nature as enjoying a fish fry for which you caught the fish. I doubt a child will ever find a drug that can compete with that experience.
