This is the final reassurance that the phenomenon the fish perceives from the MagnaBait is really about food and not a predator. The muscle movement of all creatures triggers small electric signals. Some fish perceive these with lateral lines, antennae, barbells, or facial ampoules. These signals are consistant in a normal healthy fish but only occasional as muscle spasms in injured fish or other creatures that may fall in the water. This excites the fish even more because it associates such signals with an easy kill that can’t fight back or move very far.
